What characterizes your church?
First Baptist Church is a group of Christian people who are committed to God-focused worship, expositional teaching, biblical community, and Christ-like ministry. We are committed to gathering together for corporate worship where we exalt our great God. Understanding that “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ” (Romans 10:17), we are committed to the regular and comprehensive teaching of God’s Word in large and small group settings. We seek to pursue God together by sharing life together in biblical community. And we strive to minister to people throughout the world through acts of service and proclamation of the gospel.

What is worship like? What should I expect when I get there?
Our corporate worship is focused on God. We believe there is no higher calling than the worship of God. On Sunday mornings, we come together to praise God through singing, praying, and listening to his Word, the Bible. Joyful, God-focused singing as well as biblical, practical preaching are significant components of our worship each week.
Worship at 8:30 a.m. is led by our Pastor and the First Baptist Church Praise Band.
Worship at 11:00 a.m. is led by our Pastor and the First Baptist Church Choir
We also gather at 6:00 p.m., and our time together usually includes singing, a testimony, and a message.
Come worship with us! You will find folks wearing coats and ties as well as others wearing jeans and t-shirts. Regardless of how you are dressed, come prepared to focus on God.
When are your services?
Because of the number of people who gather weekly for worship at First Baptist Church, we offer two different opportunities for corporate worship. Both morning services are held in the sanctuary, and are scheduled around our central Bible study hour. We also gather regularly for evening worship in the Chapel.
